Eksplorasi ke Kaherah a.k.a Cairo!!! Day 2 or Last Day

Assalamualaikum dan salam sejahtera semua!

Seperti yang saya dah janji dulu, saya akan buat sequal Eksplorasi ke Kaherah a.k.a Cairo!!! Cam movie pulak dah. Hehehe :P. OK2, dah berfalsafah pulak saya. Hahaha! Kita sambung cerita kita ok? Ketika naik bas, saya sempat bergambar tapi tak banyak la sebab saya berdiri dan bas tuh bergerak dengan sangat laju. Berlaku 'inertia' (dalam physics) yang sangat tinggi. Hahaha! Sekali lagi saya melencong.

Sesudah exchange nombor, kami pun pergi jumpa pengantin perempuan, Kak Aqila. Ni antara gambar2 yang saya sempat ambil. Maaf ye takde gambar akad nikah. Al-maklumla, kami dipisahkan antara lelaki dan perempuan. Jadi, majlis akad nikah dijalankan di dewan lelaki manakala majlis pembatalan air sembahyang di dewan perempuan. Enjoy!

Kami dan Kak Qila ketika dia masih bujang. Hehe :P

Selamat pengantin baru Kak Qila. Moga jodoh berkekalan hingga ke syurga. Amiin~ :)

Bergambar ikut rumah masing2. Hoho!

Majlis batal air sembahyang.

Hehe. Bestla jugak. Lelaki dan perempuan diasingkan dan takde sanding. Kalau saya kahwin nanti, tak nak sanding jugak. Hehehe :P. Lepas habis je majlis batal air sembahyang, saya pun nak balik. Tak nak duduk lama2 kat Cairo, dengan panasnya memang tak tahan. Hoho. Lepas majlis, saya sempat bergambar dengan kawan2 yang study kat Mansourah jugak tapi x jumpa pulak bila kat Mansourah. Haha! Saya dapat makan NASI MINYAK!!! Bestnya! Dah lama jugak tak merasa nasi minyak. Best2. Hahaha. Tapi sebelum kami balik, kami sempat beli air soya di kedai orang thailand! Sedap betul air soya tuh! Manalah nak jumpa air soya kat Mansourah ni. Haha. 1 botol air soya berharga 2.50 Genih (kalau tak silapla). Jadi kami berempat pergi ke Ramsis (cam stesen bas and keretapi la) dengan teksi. Sesampai di sana, saya ingin sangat naik keretapi. Kami cubala tanya counter tiket. Dahla semuanya asyik kata kat counter sebelah. Penat kami tukar2 counter. Nak dekat Maghrib dah tuh, tambah2 lagi time tuh pukul 2 petang. Lama tuh nak tunggu. Jadi kami balik dengan tremco. Ada salah satu penumpang tuh budak kecik and baby! Comelnya.

Hijau jugak tau Mesir ni. Bukannya Berpadang pasir je. Hehe :P

Kambing biri-biri sangat comel!! XD

Dah sampai Mansourah! Patung Firaun ni besar. Hoho!

Sampai sini je. Moga kita berjumpa lagi! Rajin2lah comment ye. Tata! :D

Hari Valentine Di Mesir.

Assalamualaikum dan Hi semua.

Apa khabar? Moga semuanya sihat2 belaka.

Ada orang tu siap wish saya lagi "Happy Valentine's Day!" sebab ingat saya raikan Valentine's Day. Pelik2 je. Mungkin setengah anda yang baca ni mungkin terkejut kerana tak sangka mereka meraikan Valentine's Day.

Setakat ni sahaja la saya tulis. Saje nak beritahu pengalaman saya di sini. Moga kita berjumpa lagi insyaAllah. :D

Eksplorasi ke Kaherah a.k.a Cairo!! Day 1

Assalamualaikum and hi everyone!

Apa khabar semua? Sihat? Moga2 sihat sejahtera semuanya.

Ergh! Kami apa lagi, mintak dia kurangkan tambang yang asalnya 14 Genih (matawang Mesir atau rasminye LE, i don't know what LE stands for. haha) kepada 10 Genih (untuk 1 kepala ye). And nasib baik pakcik tuh cam baik, dia tolong carikan macrobas untuk kami. Ish3. Dah la pakcik trenco tuh dah warning awal2 katanye macrobas patutnya 2 Genih je, yang pakcik macrobas pulak mintak 40 Genih (kalau 2 times with 12 equals to 24 Genih, kalau 40 Genih, maksudnya 3 Genih sorang and ada extra charge 4 Genih). Kureng betol pakcik ni!! Dah la macrobas cam anytime nak roboh, nak extra charge pulak. Kejam pulak. Hmm. Tapi nasib baik ada Safwah (salah sorang dari kami), dia pandai argue dgn org arab. So, dapat la 36 Genih sorang (without extra charge). BUT! Haiya. Ade "but' tuh. Pakcik tuh hantar kami in the middle of Abbasiyah City! With we all girls and new to Egypt, especially Cairo, takde rasa belas kasihan pun! Ergh! Rasa nak cekik je pakcik dia biar rasa tau betapa sakitnya hati ni. That uncle is so lucky because I didn't kick his jerk ass and I was in the vacation mood. So, untuk menceriakan hati ni (ala, lagipun pe yg pakcik tuh buat pun x rasa sgt because time tuh pagi2 lagi and mood tengah excited bila sampai Cairo. Hehe :P) saya pun tangkap gambar banyak2 kat situ. Best2! Time tuh, Safwah and Liyana sibuk call kawan masing2 sebab kami x tau camne nak gi Malaysian Embassy kat Arma. Ni antara gambar2 dekat traffic light dekat Abbasiyah.

Di dalam trenco.

Sesak dengan manusia dan kenderaan.

Gambar ni menunjukkan betapa jerebunya Cairo.

"Hello2. Kami sesat ni," kata Liyana. Buat dialog pulak saya. hahahaha!

Malaysian Embassy di Abbasiyah.

Di pintu masuk Embassy. (Dari kiri : saya dan Pikah)

At last! Kami sampai kat Embassy dengan menaiki trenco kot (tak ingat dah. hehe :P) Sampai2 Embassy kami sekali lagi diuji. Macam2 dugaan kami kena. Takpe2. Seronok gila. But air-condnye x sejuk2 and TV xde signal. Sengal je. Lebih baik tak yah letak kat situ. Hahahahaha! Tapi apa2pun, kami bersyukur dapat tempat untuk bermalam. Setelah solat Zohor, kami pun bertolak ke City Star. Ya Allah, nak tercabut kaki dibuatnya. Jauh gila kami berjalan. Kami kat Mansourah pun x jalan selama 1 jam setengah. Hahahahaha. Musyrifah (cam tour guide or guardian la) kami nak save 20 Genih, so taknak naik teksi tapi jalan kaki. Dia pun 1, agak2 ar. Ingat kami kat Mansourah ni fitness tinggi ke cam kat Cairo. Haih. Tapi ape2pun, saya bersyukur dapat jalan2 sebab dapat tengok macam2 pemandangan. Lawa2. :D Ni antara gambar2 on the way nak gi City Star.

Ni dekat Misr Sudan (nama kedai). Kami bergambar sambil tunggu musyrifah kami sampai. (dari kiri : Safwah, Ainun, SAYA!!, dan Fatin)

Ini Cairo ye tuan, puan. hehehe :P

Saya pun nak calling2 orang gak. hehehe :P

Bas pink sangat comel!!! XD

Iklan tepi jalan pun boleh jadi tempat posing. Hahahahahah!

Cahaya mentari di bumi anbia. (ayat jiwang sikit. hahahaha. XD)

Pokok ni bunga dia lawa. :D

Iklan yang rosak pun boleh posing tuh. Hehehe :P

Fountain! Saya suka fountain! XD

Kami bergambar dekat fountain. 12 orang semuanya.

Depan kedai pun kami boleh bergambar. Tauke kedai gelak2 tengok gelagat kami.

Hahahaha. Ni antara2 gambar2 yang saya dan kawan2 ambil di City Star. Enjoy. :)

Kami bergambar sejurus tiba di City Star. (Dari Kiri : Ainun, saya, Diyanah dan Shasha)

Dah takde kerja. Hahahahaha. (Dari Kiri : Safwah, saya, Fatin dan Pikah)

Di Hardee's. Tengah tunggu makanan yang di'order'. Nombor 76! Hehe :D

Di tengah City Star. :D

Saya termenungkan apalah tuh? hehehe :P
Bergambar depan videocam. *wink2* ;D

Selepas kami sampai di City Star, kami cari food court sebab kami x makan lagi. Selepas makan, kami jalan2 dan terus balik. Alhamdulillah kami balik dengan naik teksi bukan jalan kaki lagi. Seriously, memang penat. Tunggu la "Eksplorasi ke Kaherah a.k.a Cairo!! Day 2 or Last Day!". InsyaAllah, kalau saya ada masa, saya post. Kalau tak, maaflah ye. Sampai sini sahaja. Moga kita bertemu lagi akan datang. :D Tata!

Last day of Urology and Nephrology Department. (Radiology)

Assamualaikum and hi everyone!

The last day for Urology and Nephrology. I don't know why, but i felt so sad to leave this department. Anyway, I still need to leave this department and give a chance to the other group from Oncology department to visit the Urology and Nephrology Department. Well, the last day actually almost nobody came, because the OR room is empty, I mean no operation on Thursday. So there were a few people came because didn't got the message. (that's including me. LOL!) Because a few people came, so Doctor Mohamed will bring us to any department inside the hospital that we haven't visit yet. At first, we'd agreed to go to the stone clinic department but the stone clinic is closed because the need to 'rest' the equipment (whatever they said), then I suggested the radiology department. The boys, Yazreen and Ammar, didn't want to join because they said they already went there and they left. That's make 3 of us for now on(Kak Hanim, Doctor Mohamed and I). Luckily, the radiology department is opened! So we went inside MRI room. It was AMAZING! I mean like how many people get to see MRI machine LIVE! (except doctors. LOL!) And again, we were so lucky at that time because we could see a few patients undergoe MRI scan. Sadly, all of the patient was kids! I was so sad and pitied for the kids. (P/S MRI means magnetic resonance imaging. *taken from Dorland's Pocket Medical Dictionary)

1st patient.
The patient was a 5 months old baby boy. He has kidney problem, so he had MRU. You guys must be thinking what is MRU. You thought i was talking about MRI. LOL! Don't worry. I am talking about MRI machine, but this particular patient did MRI scan at his urinary tract. That's why it is called MRU. U is for urinary tract.

2nd patient.
This patient was a 2 years old girl. Very cute, beautiful little girl. She had MRI scan for her brain. She suspected for seizure. For that reason, the doctor need to scan her brain to see which part of her brain affected.

3rd patient.
This patient was a 3 years old girl, i guess. She had MRU scan too. I didn't know the rest because I was outfocused and the 2nd doctor was not very friendly.

There are some pictures I've took. Enjoy! :)

The MRI machine. There's the baby. Can you see?
Kak Hanim. :)

ME!!!! XD

The MRI scanner.

The scan begins! This doctor was very friendly. But not the 2nd doctor. LOL!

Some pictures taken from the MRI scanner.

So, that's all folks. Tata for now! Thanks for your time! :)

Dialysis

Assalamualaikum and hi everyone!

Sorry for not update my blog for a few days. Well, I don't have any spirit to do anything lately, including update my own blog. *sigh* I just got back from Cairo 2 days ago. It was a blast! Eventhough it was so damn TIRING! So for this topic, Im going to talk about the clinical attachment on dialysis department. I think all of you know what is dialysis right? Dialysis means process of separating macromolecules from ions and low-molecular-weight compounds in solution by the difference in theirs rates of diffusion through a semipermeable membrane, through which crystalloids pass readily but colloids pass slowly or not at all. (taken from Dorland's Pocket Medical Dictionary.) I'll show you some pictures of dialysis machine and the patient for you to see. Enjoy. :)

The new Urology and Nephrology Hospital from outside. This is where they have dialysis machine.
Dr. Wesam Fawzy and I.
Patients during the dialysis session.

That's the dialysis machine.
The dialysis machine. The tube which red in colour is blood.

Each patient that undergoes dialysis session is due to both kidneys failure. Each session is about 4 hours for 3 times a week. The Dialysis Department has 2 shift. Everyday, except friday, at 8am - 12pm and 1pm - 5pm. That's all from me, folks and thanks for reading! Tata for now. Bye!

OR Department of Urology and Nephrology Center

Assalamualaikum and hi everyone!

As you all know, I've involved in the clinical attachment. So im going to talk about my experienced. On 6th February and 7th February 2010, I went to Pediatric OR and OR (Operation Room). It was so tiring! Eventhough I didn't do the operation and just watched the doctors and his team did their work. It was tiring to stand and watch. So I definitely doesn't want to become a surgeon in future. Anyhow, about the topic today, I got to see so many apparatus and so many machine used in an operation. Oh, and not to forget, the drugs used on the fainted patient.
Pediatric OR
On 6th February, I went to Pediatric OR. I was so sad to see kids, at young age, they have tumor. Young age, TUMOR! I mean like when I was young, I played, enjoyed and whatever kids do but they're not. But instead, they have to battle with their own tumor and the only way to save them is by operation. And Im sorry because I didn't have any picture for Pediatric OR. The doctor doesn't give the permission to take pictures.

I've watched 2 live surgeries. 1st, it's called right radical nephrectomy and the 2nd one is called recurrent coronal hypospadias.

1. Nephrectomy means removal of kidney. The patient was 10 years old boy. The doctor said it is total nephratic tumor and it is most common of pediatric disease. Doctor had to remove the right kidney with its fascia, ureter, and some affected lymph nodes. It took about 3-4 hours for this operation.

2. Recurrent coronal hypospadias is a repaired operation at penis. This due to penile ureter facing downward instead of facing forward. Actually it seems normal because the patient still can urinate but it can make the patient infertile. When sexual intercourse, somehow, the sperm will move downward instead moving formward towards the cervix.
OR
There were 4 operation held on 7th February 2010. But i could only watch 1 operation because the 3 operation is held at the same time. The boys in my group went to see the right radical nephrectomy and right pyelolithotomy. Pyelolithotomy, they remove stone in the kidney. The diameter was 1 cm in renal pelvis. The colour is black and white. The patient kidney is not in normal position, it is mild rotated and the doctor left it like that. the right radical nephrectomy, u guys knew that already right? Like I've mentioned before, it's removal of kidney. The girls, Kak Najib and I, went to watch the radical cystectomy & diversion. This operation is for removal of urinary bladder because of tumor. the patient was 55 years old man and HCV (Hepatitis C Virus) positive. But I didn't watch the operation till the end because it was so long and i was tired from day before. Here some pictures from the OR. Enjoy. :)

This is the whiteboard which state the name of the operation.

This is the apparatus used in the operation.

As you all can see, there are a few drugs used on the patient.

This is the machine that monitor the heart beat and volume of oxygen in the patient's body.

The operation begins! I was very pity at the doctor because he was sweating. Maybe the room was so hot.
I can't recall what this is. Maybe the fat or the affected lymph nodes.

This is the patient's blood on ......cloth, i guess. :P

This apparatus used to suck the excessive blood.

The blood is stored in this bottle or jar-look-a-like after being sucked.

That's all folks. Tata for now! XD
